History
Founding
Sannsystems was founded in 1928 by the merger of the Sannligs Forsvarsværker and the recently nationalised Republikken Stælverker, which represented the two major arms manufacturers in Sannlibo and also the most important and largest steel producer. Additionally the recently nationalised military shipbuilding and aerospace sector was integrated into the new company in the year 1929. In 1930, Sannsystems could finally enter the market and began the production of arms and vehicles, mostly for the Sannlig Forces.
In the 1950s Sannsystems began joint developments with the ringeriker company Stålgilde, with the purpose to develop armoured vehicles for their respective armies. This as well resulted in Sannlibo joining the Northern Integrated Systems Group partnership with Ringerike and Chezzetcook, which actually was a team-up between Sannsystems, Stålgilde and the chezzetcooker Société pour la Fabrication d'Artillerie (SFdA). This was later joined by the gardariki Valland companies.
Until the 1990s Sannsystems portrayed the nationalised high technology and heavy industrial sector, as they were only few other private companies in this sector. Beginning in the 1980s and especially during the 1990s the sannlig governemnt decided to privatise state-owned companies and to dissolve monopolies in certain sectors. In case of Sannsystems, the steel sector was sold to Hagersstål Metalværker in 1984, later the other metal processing branches, which were active in the market of light metal processing, were sold out as MetalSann, which was later bought by Sterna Gruppen. The civil aviation branch of Sannsystem was sold out and brought to stock as AeroSann in 1994, the civil ship building sector followed as NavalSann in 1995, then in 1996 the rolling stock and transportation branch was sold out as RailSann and later bought by Oker Systems.
Sannsystems remained solely as a contractor of solutions and systems for military, security and govermental customers, while the complete civilian market has been taken over by private enterprises.

Former Divisions
Aerosann AB
Aerosann AB was formed with the separation of the civilian aircraft business from the government segment, which has been named S²Aerospace. Following this, Aerosann AB was also brought onto the stock exchange, the sannlig state however holds 40% of the shares. Aerosann now manufactures a broad range of helicopters, regional and corporate aircraft as well as smaller medium-haul jetliners. In addition to this, Aerosann also produces a wide range of avionics and engines for every kind of aircraft, even military or long-haul aircraft, e.g. are the engines and parts of the avionics of the JA-2000 produced by Aerosann.
Navalsann AB was formed by the separation of the civilian shipbuilding business from the special, government and military shipbulding business. Just like Aerosann, Navalsann was brought onto the stock exchange, while the sannlig state still holds 40% percent of the shares.
