Qataba is an island country in Kesh located in the Eurybian Sea.
Etymology
The Aravan name Almak-Qataba (ماكن كتبا) has been in use since before the 3rd century CE. The main suggested etymology is a contraction of the phrase Almakan aladhi katabah fih, meaning the place where he wrote it, in reference to the first Maerifa of Haqiqatan Abn Lirajul.
One folk etymology for the name amongst the continental Aravanics says the name means "great fort"
