The Pette (Fully: Confederate Mursian Pette, CMP) is the currency of Mursland since 1889. The coin (and later bills) were issued to unify the remaining currencies in the confederation; the Bonamech Pette, Naian Som, Circian Pette and Traxian Royal Drachme. Initially introduced fixated on the gold standard, this was abolished already in 1893. Over the first decennia of the 20th century, the Pette witnessed an inflation that made its subdivision, the Niizje Pette (also known as the Niizip), effectively obsolete. They are still in use nowadays, although they are only minted in very small quantities, and are mostly limited to the last digits of interest rates.
