The Commonwealth of Independent Nations, generally known simply as the Commonwealth, is a political association of 5 member states, nearly all former territories of the Samot-Seratofian Empire. The chief institutions of the organisation are the Commonwealth Secretariat, which focuses on intergovernmental aspects, and the Commonwealth Foundation, which focuses on non-governmental relations between member states.

The human symbol of this free association is the Head of the Commonwealth, currently Tamerlan Akhmedvanadze; the 2018 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting appointed Žuljus Badűrjos to be his designated successor. The President is the head of state of 2 member states, while 3 other members are republics.

The Commonwealth was founded by the Samot Government initially as a last-ditch attempt at rescuing the former empire, which was partitioned into several pieces by the Treaty of Holmgard. However, after the establishment of the Samot Central State, the Commonwealth was temporarily disbanded by the Samot Central State, but it was re-established by the Samot Republican Government-in-exile in Iere. South Kesh was ejected from the organization following Human rights concerns in 1988, similarly, Vrtgora left the organization due to political reasons in 1997.
